The transplant nephrology group of SWBMG supports one of the largest non-academic kidney transplant programs in the country. The California Pacific Medical Center’s kidney transplant program has performed more than 6,700 kidney transplants, averaging about 220 per year.

We perform nearly 300 transplants per year and 500 complex GI and urologic procedures annually. In addition, we have comprehensive post-operative follow up and survivorship programs for every type of surgery we perform.

SWBMG hospitalists primarily care for complex, high-acuity tertiary and quaternary care patients from a diverse population across Northern California and beyond.
