From routine gynecologic care to advanced minimally invasive surgery, SWBMG’s gynecologists provide coordinated care backed by subspecialty expertise. As members of the Center of Excellence for Gynecologic Surgery at Sutter CPMC, our physicians and APCs collaborate closely with urogynecology and gynecologic oncology specialists to care for patients with more complex conditions. We are also committed to providing inclusive gynecologic and pelvic health care for LGBTQIA+, nonbinary and gender-diverse patients, including care that supports gender affirmation.

Obstetrics

Whether a pregnancy is routine or medically complex, SWBMG’s obstetrics team provides coordinated care that brings together obstetricians, Certified Nurse Midwives and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists. As a regional referral center for high-risk obstetric care, we partner closely with referring physicians to ensure seamless consultation, transfer and ongoing care when advanced expertise is needed.

Maternal Fetal Medicine

SWBMG’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists provide advanced consultation and care for patients with high-risk pregnancies, combining expertise in fetal diagnosis, prenatal genetics and complex maternal conditions. With outreach clinics in Santa Rosa, Novato, Oakland and Burlingame, along with 24/7 on-call consultation services, we partner closely with referring physicians to provide timely evaluation, coordinated care and seamless access to advanced obstetric expertise.

Services include:
• High-risk obstetric consultation (inpatient and outpatient)
• Prenatal genetic counseling
• Chorionic villus sampling (CVS)
• Amniocentesis
• Comprehensive obstetric ultrasound
• Advanced fetal monitoring
• Preconception counseling for patients with complex medical conditions
• Management of high-risk maternal and fetal conditions, including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes and fetal growth disorders

Urogynecology & Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

SWBMG’s Urogynecology and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery programs provide specialized evaluation and treatment for pelvic floor disorders and complex gynecologic conditions. Our physicians work closely with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans, combining advanced diagnostic capabilities with minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes.

OB Hospitalist

The OB hospitalist team at SWBMG features a group of detail-oriented, compassionate providers dedicated to ensuring quality in-hospital obstetric care. They are responsible for facilitating safe newborn delivery and management of urgent OB/GYN conditions seen in the practice. By utilizing a collaborative work model supported by advanced technology, our nationally recognized team offers specialized care to patients and their families.
